Our Revenue Cycle team is looking for an experienced billing specialist to work claim denials and aged A/R for a growing book of provider groups. This is a six-month contract with a strong chance of extension.
What you will do - Work denials and rejections in the clearinghouse and payer portals - Correct and resubmit claims, and write appeals where they are warranted - Post payments and reconcile EOBs and ERAs - Flag trends in denials to the coding and front-desk teams
What you bring - Two or more years of professional medical billing - Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS - Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and major commercial payers - A quiet workspace and a reliable internet connection
Hours are flexible within US business hours, 30–40 a week.
